Lodeso, a Michigan-based logistics provider, specialized in final-mile delivery for high-value, oversized products like furniture. As business surged, its 15-year-old Visual FoxPro system began to slow everything down.
To stay ahead, Lodeso partnered with Ticomix. We modernized their outdated legacy system into a scalable, C#-based application that empowered users, improved customer visibility, and fueled continued growth, positioning the company for its eventual acquisition by Schneider National Carriers.

Challenge
Lodeso’s Visual FoxPro system had reached capacity. A team of two employees juggled multiple databases just to manage growing order volumes, often spending nights and weekends keeping the system online. Every new customer setup required manual edits in database tables, creating delays and leaving no time for innovation.
With demand climbing, the company needed a platform that could handle thousands of monthly orders, empower users to configure customers on their own, and give clients real-time visibility into every delivery.
Designing the Solution
Our team started by dissecting 15 years of complex FoxPro code to uncover critical logic and dependencies. The goal: preserve what worked while designing a modern, maintainable architecture built for growth.
We recommended a full FoxPro modernization by migrating to C# and the .NET Framework, consolidating data and introducing user-friendly dashboards. This design eliminated manual table edits, reduced maintenance, and delivered the speed and flexibility Lodeso needed to scale.
Developing the Solution
Ticomix rebuilt Lodeso’s logistics platform from the ground up. The new system unified fragmented databases, optimized performance, and added dashboards that put control directly in the hands of users and customers.
The upgraded solution:
- Streamlined operations by combining multiple databases into one unified platform
- Enabled staff to configure customers and manage orders without IT assistance
- Delivered self-service dashboards for customers to track and export order data
