Application Development Intern

Role Description:

The Application Development Intern position is responsible for troubleshooting problems with clients, training on new applications, assist with application implementation, develop and test custom software projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Arranges project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements; preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic.
  • Encodes project requirements by converting work flow information into computer language.
  • Programs the computer by entering coded information.
  • Confirms program operation by conducting tests; modifying program sequence and/or codes.
  • Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
  • Work with Clients to test and evaluate the applications, document need changes and determine best course of action.
  • Work with the product fulfillment team to obtain accurate quotes for customers by providing clear and detailed product information as it pertains to the project or case.
  • Manage time reporting within the internal case management system.
  • Provide technical assistance on complex issues as encountered by peers or others.
  • Maintain an up-to-date skill set as it pertains to the latest technologies, processes and methods within the IT community.
  • Maintain the Ticomix image at all times.

Software Architect

Role Description:

A Software Architect is responsible for working with clients to coordinate the implementation of various Ticomix/Aptris projects from design phase through project closure. The Software Architect is the primary point of contact between our team members, any vendors and the client. The Software Architect ensures the services delivered by Ticomix/Aptris conform to what was contracted for by the client. This person has full responsibility for the quality of the solution, project schedule and completion of the project within budget in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Project Initiation Activities.
  • Review project SOWs with Sales Team, Delivery Team, and Clients to determine goals, time frame, funding limits, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
  • Prepare for and conduct project kickoff meetings with Clients.
  • Conduct Project Planning Activities.
  • Lead/manage the project according to the project plan.
  • Maintain focus on overall Client Relationships.
  • Be primary project contact for the Client. Software Architect will not be the technical liaison, but will be the project liaison to the technical team and will get the right technical person involved as appropriate.
  • Support project by answering questions, tracking issues, monitoring changes and resolving or escalating problems according to Company guidelines.
  • Complete internal and customer post-project reviews to determine project success and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain customer and knowledge information records.
  • Maintain the Ticomix image at all times.

Qualifications:

  • General familiarity with the Windows environment
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow software applications and related third-party add-ons
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proven customer service skills (polite, professional, respectful)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including listening skills and the ability to clearly document procedures
  • Proficient in working with and training users, typically in a 1:1 setting but may also be in a group setting
  • Familiar with the Information Technology consulting industry
  • Established organizational skills
  • Demonstrates troubleshooting skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to create a problem solving plan
