Challenge

Endurance Lift’s pricing process relied heavily on manual spreadsheet management. When updating pricing for an order, a team member had to open a separate Excel file and apply changes manually for each line item. This time-consuming process often led to delays and limited pricing updates to once a month, which slowed down order processing and reduced flexibility.

Endurance Lift needed an automated system to keep pricing accurate and responsive without introducing additional administrative burden.

Designing the Solution

Ticomix worked with Endurance Lift to reimagine the pricing update process, focusing on responsiveness, accuracy, and simplicity for both internal users and customers alike. The goal was clear: eliminate the need for manual intervention and allow the system to update in real time.

Key design priorities included:

Trigger-based pricing logic: Set up automatic recalculation when a user adds an item or changes unit price or margin.
Live net price updates: Ensure the system dynamically updates the Net Price field without requiring manual input.
User-first interface: Create workflows that feel seamless for internal users managing orders and intuitive for customers reviewing pricing and progress.

This framework laid the foundation for a solution that improves speed, accuracy, and usability across the board.

Developing the Solution

With the design in place, Ticomix engineered a system that integrates directly into Endurance Lift’s order entry platform.

Real-time pricing logic: The system recalculates Net Price instantly when changes are made to line item details like Unit Price or Margin.
Embedded automation: No more Excel files. All updates are handled in-system, with pricing logic baked into the order workflow.
User-friendly enhancements: The order screen was updated to reflect changes instantly and clearly, minimizing training needs.
Reliable backend performance: Built with .NET and SQL Server, the system delivers responsive, accurate updates with every change.

Results

Eliminated spreadsheets: Pricing updates are now handled directly within the order system with no external tools needed.
Increased efficiency: Users no longer have to wait for month-end updates. Pricing adjusts automatically in real time.
Reduced manual errors: Automated logic removes the risk of calculation mistakes or missed updates.
