On January 12, 2010, the mainstream support for Microsoft Visual FoxPro ceased.
While still a stable development tool, FoxPro is no longer supported by Microsoft. No future patches or updates will be released to maintain compatibility with new operating systems or hardware. Visual FoxPro 9.0 is the final version of Microsoft’s flagship database platform.
