AI Automation Engineer – Remote

Ticomix is expanding its AI capabilities and is seeking an AI Automation Engineer who is eager to apply AI to solve real business problems. This role focuses on designing and deploying AI agents and intelligent automation systems that create measurable business impact.

You do not need years of formal AI engineering experience. We are looking for strong software engineers who are curious about AI, actively learning, and motivated to apply it in real business environments.

This position reports directly to the Chief AI Strategist and involves regular client interaction.

• Comfortable speaking directly with clients and explaining technical concepts clearly.

• Accountable and able to take ownership from discovery through deployment.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deploy AI agents and automation workflows.
• Build production-ready solutions using LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and modern AI tools.
• Work directly with clients to identify automation opportunities and define solutions.
• Lead technical discussions around AI architecture and implementation, guiding clients toward sound, practical decisions.
• Integrate AI systems with CRM, ERP, and other business platforms.
• Rapidly prototype, iterate, and refine solutions as AI capabilities evolve.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, a relevant technical degree, or meaningful business process experience with strong technical aptitude.
• Strong experience working with APIs, integrations, and system design.
• Demonstrated hands-on experimentation with modern AI tools, LLM APIs, or automation platforms.
• Experience working in client-facing or collaborative environments.

Experience deploying AI workflows or agents in production environments is a plus but not required.
