Ticomix strengthens its southern Wisconsin presence by acquiring Techworks, a Milwaukee-based IT firm providing business computer networking and support services, along with its employees.

(Rockford, IL) September 4, 2012 – Rockford-based technology firm Ticomix, Inc. (www.ticomix.com) announces today it has acquired Techworks, LLC (www.techworksnet.com), a Milwaukee-based provider of business IT and networking services. The acquisition strengthens Ticomix’s presence in the southern Wisconsin region and expands the scope of services available to Techworks’ existing client base of over 200 businesses in a wide range of industries.

Both Ticomix and Techworks have been in the computer support business since 2000 and 2001, respectively, staying current with modern computing demands through key service offerings like remote IT support, offsite data backup, and cloud computing. During this time, Ticomix has strategically grown its portfolio of business technology services to include CRM and Help Desk software, custom software programming, and Cisco technologies as a Premier Certified Cisco Partner.
