In my last post, I talked about how important it is to take time to relax and refuel—and I’ve been enjoying relaxing with my family during these dog days of summer. But how do I refuel in the business sense? By getting out of the office for a couple of days to attend the Global Leadership Summit at Willow Creek.
What is the Summit all about? Leaders from around the world gather to hear inspirational and motivating messages from some of the most influential leaders in today’s business world. There are performances to lift your spirit and presentations that teach you how to better maximize your influence as a leader. This is something I do every year, and it is immensely beneficial for me personally.
Below is a video about the Summit and the list of this year’s speakers. If you’re not already signed up, I strongly encourage you to check out the Summit’s website (https://www.willowcreek.com/events/leadership/) to see if it’s something that would benefit you. This is an event that sells out the main location a full year in advance but the good news is that there are hundreds of other sites in the US where you can watch the event live. I’ll be doing that in Rockford at Rockford University.
If you’re already signed up, I hope to see you there!
