Software Architect

About the Position:

In this position, you will identify and translate business needs into web based applications through client collaboration. When working with most clients you will be taking their existing Microsoft Visual FoxPro application, evaluating its current business requirements, defining what the clients like and dislike about the application as well as defining new business requirements. Upon collection of all business requirements, a statement of work will be created detailing all application pages, database schema and the project plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients to develop technical specs for the applications
  • Complete excellent design and functional documents
  • Lead the design and architecture of new web based applications
  • Quickly review product requirements and develop solution proposals for communication to the software development  team
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure that development process and quality standards are high
  • Collaborate with groups across the company in a variety of functional areas (engineering, product management, legal, marketing) to ensure project success
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure that their concerns are addressed.
  • Translates business requirements into technical requirements and effective operational solutions

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and communicate effectively to external customers.
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience in outlining solution architecture descriptions, monitoring and governing their implementation and identifying continual improvement opportunities in web Applications

Experience with:

  • C#, C++ or Java

You are accomplished at conveying conceptual solutions and value to the Business Owner, CEO or Sales and/or Marketing VP level in a highly competitive market.

YOU HAVE… experience calling on CEOs and upper management selling the value of both tangible and conceptual products and services.  To qualify, you must have 2-5 years of prior sales experience with success in opening new accounts with initial deal size from 10-50K. We prefer successful sales experience in one or more of the following industries: Business application software like CRM or Accounting software products, sales of IT consulting services or other technical products or consulting services. You have experience and exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers. You can create competitive differentiation as you are a practitioner of solution selling methodologies.

YOU DISPLAY… Proven talent, expertise and success in prospecting both cold and warm leads to target companies with the ability to both start and maintain customer relationships. You can listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to meet the customer needs. You also have experience working in an office or remotely from your own home office with the willingness to be accountable to management.

ServiceNow Principal Consultant (North America)

We have an immediate opening for an experienced ITSM consultant with proven skills on the ServiceNow platform. You will be part of our team of ServiceNow delivery experts working with our clients to implement ITSM tools and processes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with clients to assess current processes and tools
  • Defining and documenting project requirements
  • Developing customizations and configuring the ServiceNow platform
  • Performing quality assurance testing

Required Skills:

  • Must hold the ServiceNow Implementation Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in ITIL best practices
  • Significant technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform as well as experience delivering ServiceNow implementations
  • 5+ years of experience in working with implementation of ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, HP Service Manager, or FrontRange
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience working directly with customers and clients
  • Development skills using JavaScript, Web Services and XML
