About the Position:
You will target medium to large businesses to sell them I.T. managed services, as well as Cisco equipment and related services. The position calls for a true sales professional who can talk to a business owner and an IT Manager about the benefits of the Cisco architecture and how Ticomix is uniquely positioned to build and manage that infrastructure. You will be selling in the Quad Cities, western Iowa, and central Illinois.
YOU ARE… at the top of your game, an “A” player, a professional sales “hunter,” someone with guts, tenacity, a self-starter, money-motivated, goal oriented, comfortable presenting value propositions to business owners, CIO’s, Marketing and Sales Vice Presidents of small and medium sized businesses. You possess a “can do attitude” regarding sales and success. These intangibles coupled with excellent communication skills, strong follow-up skills with a sense of urgency have made you a success in your career to date. You can express yourself with clarity, contribute excellent ideas and manage multiple clients at one time. You are accomplished at conveying conceptual solutions and value to the Business Owner, CEO or Sales and/or Marketing VP level in a highly competitive market.
YOU HAVE… experience calling on CEOs and upper management selling the value of both tangible and conceptual products and services. To qualify, you must have 2-5 years of prior sales experience with success in opening new accounts with initial deal size from 10-50K. We prefer successful sales experience in one or more of the following industries: Business application software like CRM or Accounting software products, sales of IT consulting services or other technical products or consulting services. You have experience and exceptional ability to motivate and influence key contacts and decision makers. You can create competitive differentiation as you are a practitioner of solution selling methodologies.
YOU DISPLAY… Proven talent, expertise and success in prospecting both cold and warm leads to target companies with the ability to both start and maintain customer relationships. You can listen, extrapolate information and leverage resources to effectively provide solutions to meet the customer needs. You also have experience working in an office or remotely from your own home office with the willingness to be accountable to management.
